HYDROS  realizes plants for the absorption of pollutants present in the waste coming from production processes
The absorption process, also called stripping, consists in the transfer of a dissolved gas in a liquid from the liquid to the gaseous phase. It is a physical process that can work in the case  the concentration of harmful substances in the gaseous phase (stripping air) is lower than that of the liquid phase in the equilibrium concentration
Generally they find application in the removal of various gases contained in the wastewater such as VOC, Ammonia, carbon dioxide. They may be of the cold type, or hot air or steam. The suitable type of process is identified during the preliminary engineering phases as a function of the composition of the wastewater, the installation conditions and other factors which influence the process.
The plants are supplied in package with the inclusion as well as the towers also all the related equipment to process (ponmpem, blower, piping, instruments, etc. etc.)
The types of stripper most widely used are two: In a column and in drawers.
Column filling bodies (to stripping column)
The first type provides that in the column the water is evenly distributed on all the filling bodies moving downwards due to the force of gravity, while the air rises from the bottom of the plant with contrary motion. The filling bodies increase the surface area for the  exchange of matter. This type of stripper is employed for very strippable substances such as chlorofluorocarbons (FCC tetrachlorethylene, trichlorethylene) and the ICA aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene, toluene, xylene).

Deeply column perforated plates (stripping drawers)
In this type of plant the columns are formed by one or more units (drawers), placed one above the other and the water is fed directly from the first upper drawer. Even in this case, air is fed from the low part that prevents water from dripping down through the holes forcing her to overflow, to cross the below one .The air bubbling in the water favors the exchange of substances.

The plant system can be customized according to different requirements and generally consists of:
- Air stripping ventilation station
- Stations of prestripping, stripping tower column or in drawers
- Systems for preheating the wastewater and air stripping
- Storage station and for dosing reagent
- Pumping station for the wastewater
- Piping, field instrumentation, monitoring equipment and process control
